Huddersfield Town Survival Trust was born out of crisis in March 2003 with the objective of helping to ensure the survival of Huddersfield Town Football Club.  A magnificent £120,000 was raised within weeks and half of this money was used to keep the club afloat during Administration.
Now that the Club appears to be secure, the Trust is focussed on the long-term future and this is summarised in the following:
 
Mission Statement
Huddersfield Town Supporters Trust is affiliated to both Supporters Direct (as an Industrial & Provident Society) and the Football Supporters Federation and therefore has the following objectives:
i) Promote and support the concept of democratic supporter ownership and representation through mutual, not-for-profit structures.
ii) Promote football clubs as civic and community institutions.
iii) Work to preserve the competitive values of league football in the United Kingdom and promote the game as a whole.
iv) Campaign for the rights of football supporters at all levels of the British game.
 
The Trust participates in the Huddersfield Town Development Association, along with other supporter groups and club representatives.  This has the autonomous objective of overseeing the management of the Academy, which is seen by the Trust as a vital element in the future of the Club.
